I walked quietly down the stone hall, heading to the entrance to the hive. As I stepped out of the hive, the scent of the gardens wafted to my nose, and a small smile formed, breaking the stony expression my face usually held. When i had first arrived at the hive I was surprised to find that the Highblood enjoyed the plants that grew on the mountains. The smell of the garden always reminded me of home. I walked out of the garden, and through the large gate that led out of Highblood's hive. There was a small town around the walls, where the slaves who didn't sleep in the hive stayed.
